Talk, Listen, Find Common Ground: Conflict Management Facilitators Trained in Mykolaiv to Work with Young People

A regional training for facilitators of the Ukrainian Red Cross Conflict Management youth initiative was held in Mykolaiv.

Participants learned to understand the causes of conflicts, work with the emotions and needs of the parties involved, facilitate dialogue and seek solutions that take different interests into account.

Conflict Management is one of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s youth initiatives in humanitarian education. Through practical workshops, young people develop skills that help them better understand conflicts, talk about difficult issues and interact constructively with others.

The newly trained facilitators will now conduct these workshops in their communities. After all, the ability to listen, talk about difficult issues and find solutions together is important not only during conflicts, but also in everyday interactions.
