An experience-sharing meeting between Active Ageing Clubs of the Ukrainian Red Cross Volyn regional branch took place in Lutsk

To mark the International Day of Older Persons, members of Active Ageing Clubs from Liubeshiv, Kivertsi, Stara Vyzhivka and Lutsk gathered in the city. The meeting provided an opportunity for open conversation, sharing experiences, and showcasing participants’ creative work and talents.

The festive atmosphere was enhanced by musical performances from soloists of the Krasne Cultural and Arts Centre, as well as warm conversations among the participants.

For members of Ukrainian Red Cross Active Ageing Clubs, such meetings are a great opportunity to make new friends, share their talents, feel supported and remain active and engaged in community life.

The day was filled with smiles, warm words, creativity and inspiration. After all, active ageing is not about age, but about the desire to stay active, discover new things and be there for one another.

We thank the German Red Cross for its support and for making it possible to create spaces for meeting, socialising, creativity and active ageing.
