The Ukrainian Red Cross, the Red Cross Society of Moldova and the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova provided Ukrainian-language books to children in Chisinau

During their working visit to Moldova, representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross met with representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova. The meeting focused on areas of cooperation and opportunities to strengthen humanitarian support for Ukrainians living in Moldova following the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Red Cross Society of Moldova, together with the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova, provided a collection of Ukrainian-language books to the Taras Shevchenko Lyceum in Chisinau, where children from Ukraine study after relocating to Moldova with their parents following the full-scale invasion. The initiative aims to support Ukrainian children who are continuing their education and building their lives in another country by ensuring access to Ukrainian-language literature and helping them maintain a connection with Ukrainian culture.
