Veteran Business School: Applications Open Until 20 September

The Ukrainian Red Cross continues accepting applications for the Supporting the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine programme. Through the Veteran Business School, veterans and their family members in the Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions can receive up to €3,000 in grant funding to start, restart, or develop their own businesses.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • take part in practical training on entrepreneurship, financial planning, marketing, and sales;
  • attend workshops and training sessions;
  • work with mentors to develop a business plan and financial model;
  • receive individual consultations to support the development of their business;
  • present their business plan to a selection committee and compete for grant funding of up to €3,000;
  • receive further support while implementing their business idea.

Who can apply?

Veterans who have been discharged from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as their family members. Family members of service members who are missing or have been, or are currently, in captivity may also apply, including parents, spouses, and children.

The Supporting the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the Danish Red Cross. The training component is delivered by the MIM-Kyiv Business School.
