Comprehensive Social Case Management for an Internally Displaced Family

After being forced to relocate, families need not only a safe place to live but also access to basic healthcare and other essential services.

Hanna, an internally displaced person from Kherson, turned to the Ukrainian Red Cross Community Center in Vinnytsia. She had relocated to Vinnytsia with her eight-year-old son, and the family needed safe and suitable accommodation.

A social counsellor helped the family find housing, obtain essential clothing and information about available humanitarian assistance, and access healthcare services.

With comprehensive support, the family was able to gradually address its most urgent needs and adjust to their new circumstances.
