Participation in the Expert and Scientific Conference “Mosaic of Experiences: An International Dialogue on Resilience”
The Ukrainian Red Cross Mental Health and Psychosocial Support team took part in the expert and scientific conference “Mosaic of Experiences: An International Dialogue on Resilience,” which opened the programme of the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, “World 2026: Finding Stability in Times of Uncertainty.”
The conference brought together more than 200 Ukrainian and international experts, researchers, representatives of government institutions, international organisations, businesses, civil society, and the security sector. Participants represented diverse professional backgrounds, academic traditions, and countries.
The conference aimed to compare the experiences of different societies and identify shared resilience mechanisms that help people, communities, and institutions navigate war, disasters, uncertainty, and large-scale social transformations.
During the event, participants shared their experiences, discussed factors that contribute to resilience, and explored ways to turn accumulated knowledge into practical solutions. Another important outcome was the launch of an international expert council on resilience, which will focus on researching resilience mechanisms, systematising experience, and developing interdisciplinary approaches.
For the Ukrainian Red Cross team, participation in the conference provided an opportunity to exchange professional experience, contribute to international dialogue, and explore effective solutions in the areas of resilience, mental health, and psychosocial support.
The expert and scientific conference was organised by the Coordination Centre for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme “How Are You?”, an initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Institute of National Resilience and Security, with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO).
