Following a night-time airstrike on Sumy, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Sumy region worked alongside first responders and other emergency services to provide assistance to people affected.

Ukrainian Red Cross tents have been set up at the site, where assistance is being provided to residents. Based on the needs identified, volunteers are distributing OSB boards and tarpaulins to people whose homes were damaged in the attack.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Russian forces struck the city with eight guided aerial bombs. More than 10 multi-storey and private residential buildings, vehicles, non-residential premises, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Fifteen people were injured.
