“Risks 360: No Blind Spots” Training for Ukrainian Red Cross Staff and Volunteers
A three-day training course, “Risks 360: No Blind Spots,” was held in Odesa, bringing together Ukrainian Red Cross staff and volunteers from the Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions, the Southern Interregional Office, as well as representatives of the International Humanitarian Law Unit and emergency response teams.
Over the course of three days, participants strengthened their knowledge of risk management, compliance, integrity, fraud and corruption prevention, personal data protection, personal and organisational security, emergency response, as well as cybersecurity and cyber hygiene.
Particular attention was given to the practical component of the training. Through interactive exercises, real-life case studies, teamwork, and the exchange of experience, participants developed practical solutions that will help them respond more effectively while carrying out their humanitarian mission.
Promoting a culture of integrity, security, and effective risk management is an important part of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s work. It helps strengthen the capacity of its teams and ensures the delivery of high-quality humanitarian assistance to people who need it most.
The training was held with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
