The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of another attack on Zaporizhzhia

Yesterday, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region worked alongside other emergency services at the site of another attack on the city.

Volunteers conducted door-to-door visits in the affected area, provided first aid to injured people, and delivered psychological first aid to those experiencing acute stress reactions.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces carried out air strikes on Zaporizhzhia on 23 July. The attack damaged a medical centre, nearby parked vehicles, and a five-storey residential building. A total of 25 people were injured, including six children, among them a three-month-old infant.
