The Ukrainian Red Cross responds at the scene of the Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region, together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and other emergency services, is working at the scene of the latest attack on the city.
Volunteers provided first aid to six people injured in the attack. People experiencing acute stress reactions are also receiving psychological first aid.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, three people were killed and 13 others were injured as a result of the Russian air strike on Zaporizhzhia. The attack caused fires in flats from the third to the ninth floors of a residential building, as well as in 18 cars. The blast wave and debris also damaged a further 13 vehicles and nearby buildings. Partial destruction of a three-storey building and a warehouse was also reported at other locations.

Emergency response and rescue operations are ongoing.
