UAH 2.4 Million to Support New Business Ideas: Reboot Online Service Microgrant Winners Announced

Twenty participants in the Ukrainian Red Cross Reboot programme’s online service have been awarded microgrants totalling UAH 2.4 million to launch and develop their own businesses.

A total of 43 applications were submitted by participants from the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions. Applicants included veterans and their family members, as well as entrepreneurs rebuilding their businesses after forced displacement, the loss of property, and other consequences of the war.

Several of the selected projects combine entrepreneurship with social impact. These include the production of educational materials for children with special educational needs, Montessori-inspired toys, the opening of a family bakery that preserves Crimean Tatar traditions, and a berry-processing business established by a family that lost its farm after the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.
