Training Sessions for Older People Continue in Dnipro
Specialists from the Physical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation programme of the Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross continue to deliver practical training sessions for participants of the University of the Third Age.
During the sessions, participants learn:
- how to prevent cardiovascular diseases, recognise warning signs, and monitor their blood pressure;
- which exercises support recovery after a stroke and how to organise safe and appropriate care;
- how to reduce the risk of falls through balance, coordination, and muscle-strengthening exercises, as well as practical ways to make everyday life safer.
Each session combines practical learning with clear, evidence-based guidance, opportunities to ask questions, and genuine emotional support for every participant.
