Ukrainian Red Cross Wins Two ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026

The Ukrainian Red Cross has won two prestigious ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026, organised by the International Compliance Association.

The organisation received awards in two categories:

  • Compliance Leader of the Year
  • Compliance Team of the Year (Non-Financial Services)

These awards are an important international recognition of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s systematic efforts to strengthen compliance and risk management while upholding high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Only last year, the Ukrainian Red Cross became the first Red Cross and Red Crescent National Society in the world to obtain ISO 37001:2016 certification for its anti-bribery management system. Today, this achievement has received further international recognition.

Among the finalists were leading international companies such as Shell, Sky, Telefónica, and ScottishPower. For a humanitarian organisation from Ukraine, receiving these awards alongside such organisations demonstrates that its approach to governance, transparency, and accountability meets the highest European standards.

For the Ukrainian Red Cross, compliance is ultimately about trust — the trust of the people we support, the donors and partners who make our work possible, and the wider public, who expect transparency and the responsible use of resources.

These awards are the result of the collective efforts of a team that works every day to strengthen the organisation, enhance internal processes, and uphold modern governance standards, even amid a full-scale war.

We thank the International Compliance Association for this recognition and for the opportunity to represent Ukraine on the international stage.
