Ukrainian Red Cross team responds following another attack in Zaporizhzhia
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region responded alongside the city’s emergency services at the scene of another attack in Zaporizhzhia. Volunteers conducted door-to-door assessments to identify people in need of assistance, provided first aid to four injured people, and delivered psychological first aid to a further nine people experiencing acute stress reactions.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, preliminary reports indicate that nine people were injured in the Russian drone attack. Four passenger vehicles caught fire, and a single-storey building was partially destroyed, with its roof burning over an area of approximately 800 square metres.
