Sumy: Ukrainian Red Cross Responds Following Attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Sumy region provided assistance to people affected across several impact sites in Sumy. Volunteers conducted door-to-door assessments, administered first aid to those injured, and transported injured people, including a mother with two infants, to hospitals together with emergency medical service crews.
The Ukrainian Red Cross has also established an assistance point at the affected sites, where emergency shelter repair materials are being distributed to people whose homes have been damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 13 people, including two children, were injured as a result of the Russian attacks on Sumy. A five-storey residential building, private homes, and vehicles were also damaged.
