The Ukrainian Red Cross continues evacuating people from dangerous frontline areas

A large-scale evacuation from border communities in the Kharkiv region was carried out. The operation involved the emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Kharkiv region, working together with local authorities, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, emergency medical services, OCHA, and other humanitarian organisations.

Evacuees were received at the transit centre in Kharkiv, where they were provided with temporary accommodation, humanitarian assistance, and further support.

Emergency response teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross help people leave communities near the frontline and reach safer areas to protect what matters most — their lives.
