The Ukrainian Red Cross’s priority today is to support internally displaced persons

This is crucial, as millions of people have been forced to leave their homes, losing their familiar environment, sources of income, and access to basic services. In their new communities, they need not only humanitarian assistance but also conditions that enable them to rebuild their lives, integrate, and feel safe.

That is why we must continue providing systematic support to internally displaced persons — to help people move from emergency assistance to stability and recovery.
