The Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered 37 generators in the Chernihiv region
Between February and March 2026, the team of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided 37 generators to 26 institutions and community organisations across the region.
The generators will help ensure the uninterrupted operation of hospitals, schools, kindergartens, resilience hubs, shelters, and other critical and social infrastructure during emergency power outages.
This equipment is part of a large-scale international support effort provided by the European Union to the Ukrainian Red Cross. In total, 447 generators have been delivered to Ukraine from the EU’s strategic reserves (#rescEU) under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
They are directed to support communities most affected by attacks on energy infrastructure — where help is needed most.
