“Now I can treat people who couldn’t get onto the treatment couch on their own” — Vira Dmytruk, veteran’s wife

Vira Dmytruk from Kremenets, Ternopil region, is the manager and practitioner at a massage and rehabilitation centre. She has over 15 years of experience working with people with mobility and neurological conditions and understands how important it is to make services accessible and comfortable for everyone.

Thanks to a grant from the Reboot programme, Vira was able to purchase adjustable treatment couches with electric height controls, making procedures easier and more comfortable for people. This is especially important for those who use wheelchairs, for whom getting onto a standard couch can be very challenging.

In addition to rehabilitation services, Vira provides training in various massage techniques. The Reboot programme also helps cover the related costs. Two participants from Kremenets, who found it difficult to travel regularly to Ternopil, have already completed training at the DoVira centre and are now starting their own professional practice.

Vira’s story shows how professional experience, support, and a desire to help others can create new opportunities — not only for developing a business, but also for supporting people in the community.
