They Know Support Is Here: Delivering MHPSS in Eastern Ukraine

Despite relocation, the Donetsk regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to operate actively in the Dnipro region, providing psychosocial support to those who need it most.

The main concerns raised by beneficiaries include a deterioration in emotional well-being due to ongoing shelling, the proximity of the frontline, prolonged power outages, and the overall instability of daily life. People from different groups seek support — including children and older people, who particularly need safe spaces, care, and a sense of stability amid continued uncertainty.
