Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteer from Nikopol Awarded the Order of Merit, Third Class

Ivan Skrypnyk, a volunteer with the Nikopol branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Dnipro region, has been awarded the Order of Merit, Third Class, by decree of the President of Ukraine for his outstanding service to the country and community.

For nearly three years, Ivan has volunteered with the emergency response team. As part of the team, he works on the ground in areas affected by attacks and shelling, provides first aid, participates in evacuations, and delivers comprehensive assistance to local communities.

In addition to his volunteer work, Ivan is a physical education teacher at Nikopol Gymnasium, combining teaching with coaching. He is also a multiple-time regional and national champion, a European and World medalist, and an active blood donor.
