In Odesa, the Ukrainian Red Cross held another practical session as part of its Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programme for children from internally displaced families

During winter, children need extra care to stay healthy, and regular physical activity is crucial for maintaining health and strengthening the immune system. Over the past month, the team conducted 15 practical sessions, with this time focusing on “Physical Activity: Corrective Gymnastics.” Children learned how to perform exercises properly to take care of their physical health daily. They also learned about self-care, healthy eating, and the benefits of staying active.

The programme in the Odesa region is implemented with the support of the German Red Cross and aims to help children develop healthy habits, promote an active lifestyle, and understand the importance of looking after their health from an early age.
