The Ukrainian Red Cross provided generators to Resilience Centres

Recently, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, provided generators to HealthRight International in Ukraine to ensure the uninterrupted operation of Resilience Centres, including the one in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district. The donated equipment will allow the Centre to continue providing support to people even during power outages.

Resilience Centres are barrier-free support spaces where anyone can receive individual or family counselling from a psychologist, take part in mutual aid groups and training sessions, access social or legal assistance, and find a community that helps cope with stress and loss.

The centres operate as part of the All-Ukrainian mental health programme “How Are You?”, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska, and are active nationwide.

The Ukrainian Red Cross will continue to support initiatives that strengthen community resilience, because the strength of the country lies in people who do not leave one another to face hardships alone.
