The Ukrainian Red Cross delivered 37 sets of firefighting equipment to local volunteer fire brigades in the Kirovohrad region

Each set includes all essential equipment required to operate in emergency situations: professional protective clothing, fire helmets and gloves, fire shields, fire-fighting tools, fire hoses and nozzles, fire extinguishers, loudhailers and other equipment. The provided gear will enhance the operational readiness of volunteer fire brigades in territorial communities and help them respond more quickly and effectively to fires and other emergencies.

Providing volunteer fire brigades with modern, reliable equipment is a vital part of the civil protection system and directly improves the safety of local communities.

This initiative was implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the British Red Cross and in cooperation with the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration.
