Kyiv: Operation of Mobile Warming Centres
Mobile warming centres, which the Ukrainian Red Cross deploys in close coordination with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in areas of Kyiv most affected by power and heating outages, provide a space of support for people during difficult times.
At the centres, people can warm up, have a cup of hot tea or coffee, take boiled water with them, charge their phones, and access psychological support. Most importantly, these centres ensure that no one has to face their difficulties alone.
The situation is continuously monitored, and the centres remain open at night to ensure that help is available when it is needed most.
We thank donors, partners in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and the U.S. Department of State for their support, provision of hot meals, and solidarity with Ukraine. Together, we are helping those who need it most.
