Video: National Volunteer Assembly 2025
From 3 to 5 December, the National Volunteer Assembly took place in Lviv, bringing together volunteer leaders, their deputies, and active volunteers from all regions of Ukraine.
This year, the format of the Assembly was updated. The event provided a platform for participants to attend thematic information sessions aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of volunteer work, as well as to engage in joint activities with leaders of regional Volunteer Commission networks.
In addition to the learning programme, the Assembly coincided with International Volunteer Day. To mark the occasion, each volunteer received a certificate of appreciation and small gifts as a token of gratitude for their daily commitment and contribution to the development of the volunteer movement.
The Assembly concluded with the “Ball of a Thousand Flowers”, a formal event during which the leader of the Volunteer Assembly was elected for the first time. Viktor Piznak, a regional volunteer leader, was elected by a vote of the participants.
The Assembly provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, discuss current challenges, and identify next steps to further strengthen volunteer engagement at the national level.
