Integrity and Safety: Training for Ukrainian Red Cross Teams in Ivano-Frankivsk
A training session titled “Preventing Fraud and Corruption: Steps Towards Integrity” was recently held in Ivano-Frankivsk for staff of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
During the training, participants learned the basics of risk management within the Ukrainian Red Cross, principles for preventing corruption and fraud, and the provisions of the Code of Conduct as the foundation for ethical and responsible work. Special attention was given to the mechanisms of the Integrity Line, managing conflicts of interest, and basic rules of cyber hygiene.
The programme combined theoretical sessions with practical team exercises, helping participants better understand real-life challenges and develop effective approaches to addressing them in their daily work.
The training was facilitated by the Head and staff of the Risk Management Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who created a professional and open atmosphere for discussing complex issues and finding practical solutions. The event was organised with the support of the British Red Cross.
