Fourth Cohort of the REDpreneurUA Programme Presents Business Plans

In October, the 4th cohort of the REDpreneurUA programme presented their business plans. Twenty-five participants showcased projects combining social impact, environmental responsibility, and innovative solutions.

Among the business ideas presented were:

  • A smart platform for waste recycling;
  • A next-generation fitness app;
  • A workshop specialising in the modernisation and restoration of automotive lighting;
  • Production of high-quality granulated feed for poultry and livestock;
  • Manufacture of children’s shoes that grow with the child, among many others.

“We see each cohort demonstrating an increasingly sophisticated understanding of the importance of sustainable entrepreneurship. Participants are combining a social mission, environmental care, and modern technology. These are exactly the kinds of businesses that will drive Ukraine’s recovery,” said Olena Skrypnikova, Head of the Innovative Financing and Cash Transfer Programming Unit at the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The programme jury selected ten finalists, who received grant support to implement their business plans. As a reminder, the Ukrainian Red Cross runs the REDpreneurUA programme in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with support from the Neighbour in Need Foundation (Austria) and with the participation of the Spanish Red Cross.
