A coordination meeting of Ukrainian Red Cross disaster management specialists was held in the Rivne region
Recently, Rivne hosted the annual coordination meeting of Ukrainian Red Cross disaster management specialists from across the country. The meeting aimed to strengthen response effectiveness, improve team collaboration, and enhance community safety.
Over the course of five days, participants reviewed the past year’s activities, discussed development plans, and explored ways to improve coordination during emergency responses. Specialists exchanged experiences, discussed cooperation with local authorities and the State Emergency Service. Particular attention was given to civil protection and strengthening community preparedness for emergencies.
Participants also visited one of Ukraine’s first volunteer fire brigades, where members shared their experiences of developing the volunteer fire movement in their community. On the final day, they took part in joint exercises with Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response volunteers and first responders from the State Emergency Service.
We continue to improve our knowledge and skills to be even more effective where our assistance is most needed.
