The Ukrainian Red Cross shared its experience in providing psychosocial support during emergencies at the MHPSS European Network Forum 2025

Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross took part in the 2025 Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) European Network Forum held in Türkiye. The event brought together specialists from Europe and Central Asia to exchange practices, approaches, and innovative methods in mental health and psychosocial support during emergencies.

The Ukrainian Red Cross conducted an interactive workshop, sharing its experience in emergency response, organising support for affected people, and implementing psychosocial support programmes in crisis situations. Participants discussed real cases and effective practices used in Ukraine and demonstrated how these approaches can be adapted to different contexts.

The Forum served as a platform for discussing new approaches and innovations in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), fostering international cooperation and partnerships between National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The event was organised by the European MHPSS Network with support from the Turkish Red Crescent.
