Raising Awareness of Explosive Hazards and Safe Behaviour Upon Their Discovery in Shostka

Ukrainian Red Cross specialists delivered mine risk education sessions to residents of the Shostka community at the Points of Invincibility operated by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The sessions aimed to help people identify explosive hazards and understand how to respond safely to protect themselves and others.

Important Reminder:

  • If you see a suspicious or potentially explosive object — stop, do not touch it, and immediately call 101, 102 or 112.

Strictly prohibited:

  • approaching suspicious objects;
  • touching, moving or disturbing them in any way;
  • attempting to bring them home or exposing them to any external force.

Stay alert and make sure to remind your loved ones, especially children, about these safety rules.

Being aware of mine risks and knowing how to respond can save lives and prevent serious injury.
