The Ukrainian Red Cross is responding to the strikes in the Lviv region

The team from the Lviv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is responding on the ground at two locations affected by a large-scale overnight attack. The response is being carried out in coordination with local authorities, the State Emergency Service, healthcare workers, and the police.

Humanitarian service points operated by the Ukrainian Red Cross have been established at the affected sites to provide first aid and psychological first aid. Local residents whose homes have been damaged can also receive emergency relief items, including temporary repair materials. Those affected, as well as emergency personnel, can access drinking water and hot tea at the relief tents.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, four people were killed and four others injured in the large-scale missile and drone attack carried out by Russian forces. The Lviv City Council has reported damage to more than 1,000 windows, as well as to a school and a kindergarten.
