Yesterday, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers in the Rivne region met another evacuation train arriving from the Donetsk region

Seventeen people arrived, most of them from Kostiantynivka. The majority were elderly, with the oldest passenger aged 90. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Rivne region assisted the evacuees as they disembarked, accompanied them to buses, and provided support and necessary assistance.

Since the start of mass evacuation efforts in August, more than 160 residents of the Donetsk region have arrived in Rivne. All evacuees are granted internally displaced person (IDP) status and receive temporary accommodation and state support.
