The Ukrainian Red Cross represents Ukraine at the Global Humanitarian Conference in Singapore

Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and Illya Kletskovskyy, Deputy Director General, are currently on a working visit to Singapore, where they took part in the 10th Singapore Humanitarian Conference. The event brought together representatives of humanitarian organisations, academics, government bodies, and civil society.

During the conference, they informed the international community about the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, emphasising the daily challenges faced by Ukrainian society — including ongoing shelling of cities and the large-scale attack on Kyiv on 28 August. They also presented an overview of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s work during the full-scale war, highlighting the organisation’s key results and achievements.

These discussions provided another valuable opportunity to strengthen international dialogue and exchange experiences in the field of humanitarian response.
