“Safety 360” Training: Strengthening Risk Awareness and Compliance

From 12–14 August, the “Safety 360: Security, Risks, and Compliance” training was held for volunteers and staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross from the Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regional branches.

Participants explored key topics related to safety in humanitarian settings, risk response, compliance standards, cyber hygiene, data protection, and the role each individual plays in creating a safe working environment within the organisation. Through practical sessions, teamwork, and knowledge sharing, participants not only refreshed their understanding but also developed a shared vision of safe and responsible humanitarian action.

The training was organised by the Risk Management Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine.
