Nearly 50 outreach visits were carried out in a month by a mobile rehabilitation unit in the Odesa region
Since July 2025, the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has launched its mobile rehabilitation units. During this time:
- 47 outreach visits have been carried out to provide rehabilitation services
- 12 new beneficiaries have been registered
- 5 towns and villages across the Odesa district have been reached
Mobile rehabilitation units support people in communities with limited or no regular access to rehabilitation services. Most beneficiaries require assistance following strokes, limb amputations, multiple fractures, and other complex conditions that demand long-term rehabilitation.
In addition, the free distribution of assistive rehabilitation devices has begun, significantly improving the daily lives of people with mobility impairments.
The physical and mental rehabilitation programme in the Odesa region is being implemented with the support of the German Red Cross. Together, we continue working to bring rehabilitation services closer to communities!
