360 events were held for residents of the Poltava region as part of the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programme of the Ukrainian Red Cross

Since the launch of the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Programme in the Poltava region, 569 residents have taken part in information sessions, practical workshops, and motivational interviews aimed at encouraging healthier lifestyles. Topics included balanced nutrition, healthy habits, prevention of common infectious and non-communicable diseases, and strategies for giving up harmful behaviours.

The most popular sessions focused on blood donation, diabetes, and blood pressure monitoring. Participants included children and their parents, teenagers, and older adults.

Health consultants continue to work across the region, sharing knowledge, offering support, and reminding everyone to prioritise their health every day. The programme is implemented in the Poltava region with the support of the Canadian Red Cross.
