In Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Red Cross has restored temporary shelters in local educational facilities
In Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Red Cross has repaired temporary shelters in three educational facilities — one institute and two kindergartens — to help create safer conditions for children, teachers, and parents amid the ongoing threat of attacks.
These repairs make it possible to resume in-person learning and provide basic protection during air raids, offering essential support to affected communities facing ongoing challenges.
The work is part of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s broader humanitarian response in the Zaporizhzhia region and was carried out under the Winterisation Project, in cooperation with the Danish Red Cross.
