Over 100 children and adults have received specialist care from the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health unit in the Sumy region
The mobile health unit from the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross visited the village of Banychi in the Hlukhiv community, working in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
At the general practice outpatient clinic, over 100 children and adults received specialist care from a paediatrician, neurologist, ophthalmologist, orthopaedist, obstetrician-gynaecologist and otolaryngologist.
Our teams continue to operate in the most remote parts of the region, ensuring that everyone in need has access to medical care. In the current war situation, this support is vital for those living far from hospitals and pharmacies.
The mobile health units in the Sumy region are supported by the Swedish Red Cross. Collaboration with government agencies and international partners enables us to improve the quality and accessibility of medical services for the local population.
