Ukrainian Red Cross Vehicle Damaged During Rocket Attack on Kyiv
Today, 4 July, during a large-scale rocket attack on Kyiv, a team of four Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers were providing first aid at the site of one of the strikes.
While assisting those affected, the volunteers received a new air raid alert. Accompanying local residents, the team moved to the nearest shelter. Just minutes later, new explosions were heard.
As a result of the repeated strike, the Ukrainian Red Cross vehicle was damaged: the side passenger window was shattered, and part of the vehicle was damaged. Fortunately, none of the volunteers were injured.
After receiving clearance from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the team resumed their work on site, inspecting the area and continuing to search for people in need of first aid.
Despite the ongoing danger and the threat of further attacks, Ukrainian Red Cross teams remain on the ground, committed to helping those affected.
