Representatives of the Japanese Red Cross Society arrived in Ukraine on a working visit

A bilateral meeting took place in Kyiv between the leadership of the Ukrainian Red Cross and a delegation from the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing partnership, explore opportunities for its expansion, and address Ukraine’s long-term needs in physical and psychosocial rehabilitation, as well as healthcare initiatives. The parties also considered new formats of cooperation, including advisory support and expertise from the Japanese Red Cross Society, and agreed on strategic priorities beyond 2026.

The support of the Japanese Red Cross Society is of great value to Ukraine, particularly in the areas of rehabilitation, healthcare, primary care, and strengthening community resilience.
