Last night, the Ukrainian Red Cross responded to a strike on a residential building in Odesa

Last night, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response teams, together with representatives of other rescue services in Odesa, provided assistance to victims of another strike in the city.

Volunteers carried out a walk-through of the building and the surrounding area to identify those affected. They administered first aid to individuals with varying degrees of injuries and transported one injured person to the hospital. Psychological first aid was also provided to victims and their relatives at the scene.

Emergency response team volunteers from the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Kyiv region also took part in the response.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces struck a 21-storey residential building in Odesa last night. The impact caused a fire on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. Two people have been reported dead.
