The Rivne regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has donated a swimming pool lift to the Specialised Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 2 in Rivne

The lift will be used to support people undergoing rehabilitation at the facility, including veterans and people with disabilities, providing them with comfortable and safe access to the pool.

Since early 2024, the Ukrainian Red Cross has been carrying out community-based rehabilitation in the Rivne region, with support from the German Red Cross.

Mobile rehabilitation units provide home-based rehabilitation services to residents of the Rivne region, while physical and mental rehabilitation trainers conduct training sessions on evidence-based rehabilitation and offer information on inclusion and barrier-free access.
