In Ivano-Frankivsk, groups are now being enrolled for training under the Ukrainian Red Cross’s Reboot programme
Residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, including internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups, can now take part in the Ukrainian Red Cross’s “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme. The initiative is being implemented in the region with support from the Spanish Red Cross and the Swiss Red Cross.
The programme’s main goal is to support participants in preparing for employment, helping them adapt to the modern labour market, become aware of current job vacancies, and gain the confidence needed for a successful job search.
Participants will receive:
- training in CV writing and interview preparation
- оne-to-one consultations with a career counsellor
- soft skills development (e.g. communication, stress management, self-presentation)
- psychosocial support sessions to build confidence and resilience
- micro-enterprise training: a course on starting a business, business planning, and financial management
Participants can undertake vocational or advanced training in a range of professions, including: driver, turner, electrician, accountant, hairdresser, manicurist, seamstress (tailor), pastry chef, SMM manager, salesperson, and cosmetologist. There is also an opportunity to improve computer literacy skills.
The Ukrainian Red Cross’s Reboot programme is delivered in partnership with vocational training centres in Ivano-Frankivsk.
