Supporting emergency workers in the Dnipro region is a top priority — many lives depend on it

A meeting was held with first responders from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipro region to discuss coordinated action with the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the event of emergencies.

With the support of the Disaster Management Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Yevhen Poliarush, Head of the Eastern Interregional Office, handed over 200 individual first aid kits to the units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the region.

In addition, the Museum of Emergency Workers was enriched with a copy of the book “One Hundred Stories of the Ukrainian Red Cross.”

“Each photo in this book tells a powerful story — full of hope, determination, friendship, and faith in humanity. In this kaleidoscope of moments, the Ukrainian Red Cross stands shoulder to shoulder with those who embody courage and resilience every day: Ukraine’s first responders. Only through cooperation do we grow stronger,” said Yevhen Poliarush, Head of the Eastern Interregional Office of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
