The Ukrainian Red Cross signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine

Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, and Vitalii Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at supporting farmers and rural communities affected by the war.

“Supporting farmers in frontline areas is one of the Ministry’s key priorities. That’s why this memorandum is so important — it will not only ensure psychological support, but also help attract microgrants for small farms,” emphasised Vitalii Koval.

During the meeting, the participants also discussed the development of programmes for the reintegration, rehabilitation, and professional adaptation of veterans returning to peaceful life and agricultural work. This is a vital investment in the sustainability of Ukraine’s agricultural sector and in both national and global food security.
