The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to a night-time attack on Zaporizhzhia
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region, alongside other rescue services, worked at the site of the strike. The volunteers provided first aid and psychological first aid to those affected. In collaboration with first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, they assisted with debris removal and the recovery of victims’ bodies.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, another Russian UAV strike on Zaporizhzhia resulted in the deaths of three people, including one child, and injured 12 others. The attacks also caused fires, destroying residential buildings, non-residential facilities, and vehicles.
