The Ukrainian Red Cross “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme has been launched in the Poltava region
Opportunities arise where there is support. To assist vulnerable individuals seeking employment, the Reboot programme, implemented with the support of the Spanish Red Cross, has been launched in the Poltava region. As part of the event, representatives of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross visited Poltava and the Poltava Regional Employment Centre. During the meeting, they discussed key areas of activity, mechanisms to support people in finding employment, and the availability of microgrants to help them develop their own businesses. The participants observed the process of registering unemployed individuals, preparing CVs, and the resources available to help them develop their professional skills.
The visit also included an information session for the programme participants, during which they learned more about training courses, in-demand professions, career opportunities, and other important aspects for improving their chances of employment.
The Reboot programme in the Poltava region will provide opportunities for:
- training and retraining in relevant professions;
- individual career guidance and counselling;
- psychosocial support to restore confidence;
- assistance in finding employment and developing their own business.
The programme was made possible thanks to our partners who support Ukrainians during this difficult time and help create the conditions for their professional development.
