Chernihiv region: support for lonely people and provision of medical care in remote communities

On a regular basis, mobile health units from the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross visit remote communities in the region to provide assistance to those with limited access to medical services. During these visits, specialists conduct health checks and, where possible, provide the necessary medications.

Additionally, in the Chernihiv region, Ukrainian Red Cross social assistants visit people with limited mobility on a daily basis, helping them with household chores, shopping, housekeeping, and other tasks. This is an extremely important mission, as many elderly individuals are left without relatives or the ability to care for themselves in the current environment.

The activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Chernihiv region are supported by the Austrian Red Cross and the Finnish Red Cross.

We stand by those in need!
