“We are restoring people’s normal quality of life”: Vira Antropova, Lutsk

Vira is a physical therapist with the mobile rehabilitation unit, which provides rehabilitation support to people living in remote areas or those unable to access rehabilitation in medical facilities.

This demanding and challenging work requires a high level of expertise and physical skills to effectively restore people’s quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

According to Vira, most of their patients are individuals who have suffered strokes and, as a result, have partially lost the ability to move certain parts of their bodies.

Thanks to their skills, perseverance, and the necessary technical support, Vira and her team can restore the quality of life that people enjoyed before their condition.

Vira is also a volunteer with the Volyn regional emergency response team and a YABC facilitator.
